Don't Forget Where You Belong

This song has so much emotion in it. Knowing that Niall wrote it is amazing because it literally shows how much him and all the boys miss home. It is a message to the boys to stay grounded and know that their parents are the home. It makes me emotional to listen to this song because you can almost hear how much the boys miss home. This song is just a really sweet song that was more for the boys and himself more than us fans. It just happened to turn out well enough that it got on the album. I always love hearing this song because it reminded me personally that I belong to God and that I need to remember that even as things change and emotions try to get the best of me.

I just want to hear Niall sing this song flat out himself because I think that it would be the most amazing thing ever. Me being a Niall girl and all. I just think that it would be more passionate if he sang it himself sometimes.

You and I

This song has got to be one of my favorites from One Direction's 3rd album. It's soft and it just means so much. I'm a hopeless romantic and if you're like me then this song is like heaven. It's very sweet in the way it was writen. It has a different kind of beauty than any of their other songs have, in which I really enjoyed. It is almost like a message from the boys to us fans saying that nothing could make them give us up. No rumors or lack of privacy, all because they love us.

In the chorus it does happen to say that "Not even the gods above could sperate the two of us" which being Christian I did not appreciate because I know that there is only One God and He could seperate anything He wants. Other than that one detail the song is definitly amazing and one of my favorates.

Regarding the music video, most like it as it just shows the boys and them only singing, no dancers or any other distraction. For me, personally, I didn't like the way it was made. I love Ben and his music videos but I just didn't really see any genious to it because it is a love song and to me it just doesn't work. Though, had it been a different song I would have enjoyed it as that song.

Midnight Memories

Though the name of the song is the album name it tends to be one that most don't care for. When the music video came out it didn't do well. Though, personally I found the video very entertaining. Other than the explicit meaning it had a very good beat. It suggested cuss words which they don't have in any other song. It caught me off guard in which I decided to leave that sond for the discard pile. I am Christian and I like to keep my music as clean as possible. Though I do like the beat I do not listen to this song often.

Diana

Though a very good beat in this song it potrays the fans who tend to be suicidal. It's basically One Direction being the one person who will tell that person that they love them and that they want them to be alive. It's a very touching song if you find a meaning to you youself. Other than a personal attatchment to this song it tends to be a boring song unless you are already attached to the band. It's not one of those songs that get someone new to like them. It's a different kind of music for them and personally I believe they could have done better with this song. It's not one of my favorites.

Story of My Life

This song is amazing but not the best it could have been. To be honest, One Direction has become about sexual content in their songs except for a few. It makes me sick. This generation has become about sex, drugs, and alcohol. Now, don't go crazy on me. I'm only being honest. I must say though, One Direction do not suggest it as much as other people do in their songs, which I greatly appreciate, but with all respect still intact they need to get ahold of themselves and realize life is not about sex.

That aside, this song has an amazing soft tone about it. It makes you want to listen to it no matter the meaning. At first, I thought Ed Sheeran had writen it because of the way it sounded. Later I found out it was not, which sorta disappointed me because I love Ed Sheeran's work with the boys. Sad to see him not working on One Direction's third album, Midnight Memories.

The lyrics didn't really pull me in, which was really odd because most songs, of all artists, pull me in by lyrics. I'm a ballet person myself, this is technically a ballet but it never caught on to me as a ballet.

The only thing that makes this song worth listening to, in my opinion, was the beat and the amazing vocals that went into it. Let me just say when Harry Styles hits that note on the word 'frozen' makes me very happy to be alive. In general, this song is a B+ in my book.

Now, when it comes to the music video? Oh! Ben did amazing!! Can I just say that it was perfect?! The baby photos and this families!! To die for! They did absolutely amazing on it. The outfits, the scenes, even the feel of it, it just made everything so amazing. In the words of Perrie Edwards (Zayn's girlfriend) "It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!" Yes, yes it was Perrie.

Good Job, boys!!

Best Song Ever

It's definitely different than I ever expected it to be. There are moments in the song where you can admire their voices. There are parts when you can dance all night because it's the best song ever. It shows a little bit of everything. The slow parts are always my favorite in their songs because you can hear them sing the emotion that is in the song, even more so when they wrote the song. Best Song Ever is a song that I can't honestly say is the best song ever but it is high on the list. It has high quality and didn't disappoint. It is a song that will definitely get stuck in your head every time you hear it. It's catchy and I am proud to say One Direction did a fabulous job on this song. The vocals come together in harmony making beautiful music. They deserve the title of "Biggest Boy Band in the World". With complete honestly, I would suggest anyone to listen to it, watch the music video to it, and, of course, buy the song
